About the Opportunity

PYGIO is looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to support a major enterprise Data & AI initiative in Dubai.

Our client operates in a complex enterprise environment and is investing in advanced data platforms, modern data architecture, and AI-driven transformation. The successful candidate will provide hands-on delivery leadership, work closely with senior stakeholders, and ensure large-scale data programmes translate into measurable business outcomes.

This is an opportunity for a senior delivery professional who can operate confidently at both strategic and execution levels, working directly with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale enterprise data and technology programmes from planning through execution.

• Establish delivery governance, operating rhythms, milestones, dependencies, and reporting frameworks.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across data engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and business functions.

• Engage senior stakeholders to align delivery priorities with business objectives and manage expectations.

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, resolve dependencies, and proactively address blockers.

• Manage relationships with vendors, implementation partners, and internal delivery teams.

• Ensure delivery quality, timelines, resource allocation, and programme outcomes remain on track.

• Translate complex technical challenges into clear updates and recommendations for executive stakeholders.

• Support the adoption and evolution of enterprise data platforms and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration across distributed teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise data, technology, or digital transformation programmes.

• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data engineering, data architecture, and modern cloud environments.

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder landscapes.

• Experience managing programme governance, delivery planning, budgets, risks, dependencies, and vendor relationships.

• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to operate independently and provide leadership in a client-facing enterprise environment.

• Experience in consulting or delivering complex transformation initiatives for large organisations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks or other modern enterprise data platforms.

• Exposure to AI/ML initiatives, cloud data architecture, and enterprise platform modernisation.

• Experience working across multiple business units and technology vendors.

• Previous experience in the UAE or wider GCC region.

Engagement Details

• Dubai, UAE, with on-site presence required as needed to work closely with the client organisation.

• Full-time engagement aligned with the UAE public holiday calendar.

• Initial contract term of at least six months.
