PYGIO is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join a client project focused on developing and maintaining advanced reporting and analytics solutions.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced BI professional with strong Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake expertise. You will work across the data lifecycle, from extracting and preparing data to building optimized data models and delivering business critical dashboards.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders and distributed teams to translate reporting requirements into reliable, scalable solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Extract, transform, and prepare data using Snowflake.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
Build and maintain scalable data models, including star schemas and relationships.
Develop advanced DAX calculations, measures, and business logic.
Translate business requirements into practical technical reporting solutions.
Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and geographically distributed teams.
Must have:
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
Advanced hands-on expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and performance tuning.
Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
Practical experience working with Snowflake.
Experience working with large and complex datasets.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
Nice to have:
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and ETL processes.
Experience working in international or multi-entity organizations.
You are an experienced Power BI Developer who combines strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of business reporting needs. You are confident working with complex datasets, writing advanced SQL, developing sophisticated DAX calculations, and building high-performing Power BI dashboards using Snowflake as a data source.
You take ownership of your work, pay close attention to data quality and report performance, and can collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different regions.
